Another great summer meal, Mexican style. I will be sharing the Ayurvedic principles in this meal eveb though it is not East Indian food. Ayurveda is not actually about Indian cuisine, it is about elements, tastes, seasons, doshas, and actions in the body. As such, the principles can be applied to any cuisine.
Tostadas (not as ordinary as you may think! includes chile sin carne/bean spread)
Salsa Verde con Aguacate (chunks of avocado floating in a poblano tomatillo bath)
Mango Corn Salsa
Jicama Cucumber Salad with Cilantro Lime Dressing
Vegan Crema Mexicana (more like creme fraiche than sour cream)
Te de Jamaica (bright pink hibiscus tea with mint)
